Pastor Purvis Hatcher

Purvis J. Hatcher is the pastor and founder of the Temple of Deliverance church. Pastor Hatcher was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York where he attended church and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He is very faithful and dedicated to ministry and helping to build God's kingdom here on earth, knowing that only what you do for Christ will last.

In 1992, Pastor Hatcher received his ministerial license and began to preach all over the tri-state area. He loves to preach and teach God's word providing clear understanding of the scriptures so that believers will not perish due to the lack of knowledge. Pastor Hatcher was later ordained as an Elder in 1994.

In 1997, Pastor Hatcher was instructed by the Spirit of God to establish a church in South Jersey where believers could come and be set free from demonic forces through the application of the word of God. On September 7, 1997, Pastor Hatcher and his wife, Yulanda, officially opened the Temple of Deliverance Church from their home in Willingboro, New Jersey. They have three children, Brandie Monee`, Purvis McKenzie, and Betsy Alexandrea.

Through Pastor Hatcher’s faithfulness and obedience to do God’s word, in May 2007  the Temple of Deliverance purchased a church building in Pennsauken, New Jersey.  God has given the vision of help to Pastor Hatcher to aide in bringing the people of South Jersey into the Temple of Deliverance so that they may be taught the word and built up in faith enabling them to walk in abundance.  This will allow the children of God to live a life that is glorifying to God.

Church Mission

The Temple of Deliverance Church has been established to deliver God's people from all things that are not of God. This shall be the place for the captive to be set free, for the lame to walk, for the blind to see, for the poor to be rich, for the sick to be healed, for the victim to be victorious.

It seems as if the miracle season has left us, but the truth of the matter is that God has grown impatient with his people for not believing and trusting in him for the miracle that will change their lives forever. We ask that you would enter into the Temple of Deliverance expecting a breakthrough every time. Come and be blessed!
